We Love Experiments.

Students will conduct chemistry experiments involving the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds.

Objectives.

• Students analyze the structure and properties of organic molecules and their reactions through various scientic methods.
• Students identify elements in the perodic table learning the atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties of all elements.
• Students utilize an array of scientific instruments and methods used to measure physical properties of substances and apply techniques to identify their qualitative and quantitative presence within a wide variety of settings.
• Other instrumental techniques such as spectrophotometry, electro-chemistry and chromatography methods are practiced by students.

Outcomes.

With our labs we provide students with a wide variety of hands-on opportunities to practice the scientific method by gathering data, and drawing conclusions from those data.
